@LairdSummerisle Perhaps, Lord Summerisle, the answer is to give Britain back its joyous old gods, updated to meet current needs. There would be the god of the roads, the god of the bins, the god of the pubs, the NHS etc.. Of course they would have to be appeased, with sacrifices where necessary.
