After reading that last entry, I felt inspired to write my final post: http://t.co/7AqHdZx9uc

Rereading my old journals... http://t.co/4VoJ5sgEUq

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

THIS IS THE DAY, MARCH 9TH 1796, THE DAY I BECOME A HUSBAND WOOHOO. It's been several tough years, but we've come so far. Thank you France.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Jks, my day just got better. Met the love of my life. Sorry Desiree, but Josephine is the one.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Wow commander of interior? Command of the Army of Italy? I can't imagine how this day can be better.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Whoa now, thank you for the attention, money, and the new position as patronage of the new government. Remember I'm always here for you all.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Despite the 1400 deaths, it was still a successful day. And that, my friends, is how you clear a street in a whiff of grapeshot.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

SEIZE THE CANNONS, REPEL THE ATTACKERS, GUARD IT UP, PUSH THEM BACK.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Royalists? Rebellions? Sounds like they need an artillery master to the rescue. Yes this is my time to shine.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

This is not a good time for me... I have financial problems, and my career isn't too bright right now... Help?

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Still in disbelief. Just because of my refusal to serve in Vendee? This is preposterous. I am a noble man, a good man, but now I'm no man.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Are you kidding me, removed from the list of generals? Who do you think you are, runnin' around leaving scars.

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

One way to spend time is to write, and you should read my romantic novella, Clisson et Eugenie! It may or may not be about me and Desiree...

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Today is such a bummer of a day, I tried to transfer to Constantinople to offer my service to Sultan, but it failed :(

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Who is this Désirée Clary, do I even want to marry her...

[Napoleon Bonaparte @NapoleonPCE]

Well, I got out of it for now... Never thought I would be thankful for a "failing health"...
