Q: When you structure a setlist not simply as a show centred on hit songs, but weave the artist’s discography and narrative into a three-dimensional drama on stage, what is the core principle you consider most important at the planning stage?

👤 For NCT 127’s fifth tour, NEO CITY – THE REDLINE, we wanted to express through the concert the story and visual elements that could be shown with the five members who were taking the stage this time. We planned scenes that used Taeyong and Jaehyun joining the group again as key points, and especially felt that the opening section needed to actively show NCT 127’s identity as the group that represents NCT’s “neo” quality.

In the middle section of the concert, we thought about scenes that could make up for the absence of Doyoung and Jungwoo, who had played central roles in vocal songs such as ballads, while also commemorating NCT 127’s 10th anniversary.

For the final section, we focused more on clearly imprinting the imagery from the latest album on the audience, including the Hummer car scene that appeared in the ‘PÍÑATA’ performance and the jet for ‘Blingy’.
