We’re reopening the Urgent Care Centre at our Queensway Health Centre.

Starting Monday, January 29, you will be able to visit our Urgent Care Centre daily, including weekends, from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. to get care and treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains, minor burns, broken bones, and fevers.

Ontario's first Women's and Children's Hospital will be coming to Mississauga.

Located inside of the Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, the Women's and Children's hospital will have:

✅ 31 birthing suites
✅ 53 postpartum units
✅ 56 NICU beds
✅ 36 pediatric beds

Every aspect of care will prioritize the experience of women and children to ensure the best quality of care and an excellent patient experience.

The new hospital is currently in the design phase.

Parents and caregivers in Mississauga, your care options for your little ones during this cough and cold season just got wider!

A temporary paediatric clinic has opened at the Summerville Family Health Team.

The Mississauga Paediatric Care Clinic is available to children aged 6-months-old to 17-years-old who do not have a family physician, or their family physician does not have an after hours on-call clinic to assist you and your child with certain non-urgent care needs (e.g. Cough, cold and flu symptoms).

“My family thought I was going to lie in bed for 2 years, and they can’t believe I can now walk!”

While visiting family in Canada, Marie had an accident that caused her to have a spinal cord injury. Marie’s rehab team at THP planned to get her well enough that she could sit on the long airplane ride back home to Cameroon, Africa.

Thanks to their incredible care, and her determination, Marie recovered remarkably and is up and walking with a cane!
