It’s an Achilles injury and don’t see how Rybakina will be able to compete at the U.S. Open.
Good News is that she was able to walk off the court without assistance or crutches.
Bad News is that it’s an Achilles injury - which will take a few months of recovery.
Not the ending that this one deserved 😔
Elena Rybakina was forced to retire against Iga Swiatek after just five games.
We're wishing Elena a speedy recovery ❤️

Elena Rybakina injured herself in the middle of her service game against Iga Swiatek in Cincinnati.
She instantly stopped playing after making the serve.
It looks like an issue with her Achilles...
Very concerning…
Elena Rybakina retires from her match against Iga Swiatek in Cincinnati.
Wow… this is heartbreaking.
Hoping it’s not an Achilles injury ahead of the U.S. Open.
She was two wins away from the #1 ranking.
Hopefully she’ll be okay and recover quickly.

“One of the big reasons I was drafted by the Warriors was because of Don Nelson. The story is he never liked rookies, but from Day 1 he challenged me and gave me an opportunity to be my best self on the court. He taught me a lot during our one season together and I’ll never forget the night he became the winningest coach in NBA history in Minnesota. We were so happy for him.
He had an immeasurable impact on the sport and will go down as one of the greatest minds in the history of the game. He’s a true icon and will be missed by the countless number of people he touched, including myself, during a legendary career. Sending my love to Joy, his family and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.” - Stephen Curry
@NoliEala Bencic is played a very good game but unforced errors killed Alex. Fatigue and her injury caught up with her. She is still human however she gone down fighting.

I do believe Jimmy fits much better to the Dubs than LeBron. You can’t work around LBJ as he wants a lot of touches. With a more balance and deeper lineup, @Warriors does not need to become dependent on 4 oldies who all at risk of not finishing the season.
The Warriors have been hesitant in past transaction cycles to trade for Anthony Davis due to contract/assets required. There’s also the Jimmy Butler side of the equation.
