Who were they? Under whose authority were they acting? And will will you take action against them ?

Have you arrested the plainclothes persons with covered faces in the attached picture who beat up students in JNU in 2020 ? It was alleged that some Komal Sharma was also in this group .

Does India need more young people to move off farms? In a contrary opinion, we say no.

Only 13% of Indians in their twenties work on farms.

The median age of farm workers is now 40 yrs. In Kerala, 53 yrs. We may need some reallocation regionally, but not more young moving out.

Thanks to @krishnabgowda sir for the rigorous footpath campaign. You’ve done a remarkable job! Please don’t let up the momentum. I heard some comments from street vendors expressing anguish, but please never allow them to set up stalls on the footpaths again. Seeing people happily walking shows how big the footpaths actually are when they aren't 80% occupied!

How can we compel anyone to perform rituals?

What more is needed when there is already a legal registration?

If 1 litre of ethanol inside a modern distillery typically requires ~3–5 litres of water and can have a total water footprint running into thousands of litres (depending on the feedstock), how is the water trade-off being evaluated in a water-stressed country?

India has now reached 20% ethanol blending.

Energy security matters. Water security does too.

Please, please read this news thoroughly, for your own sake. I experienced chest discomfort only when I started to run at higher speeds, and it subsided when I just walked or was at rest. That's called 'stable angina' (or stress angina). Unhealthy cholesterol levels, high(er) blood pressure, diabetes are some of the causes for this - in my case, it was unhealthy cholesterol levels, long undetected, while my blood pressure, conversely, continues to be on the lower side because of my running... which my doctor confirmed as healthy since I wasn't experiencing associated fatigue. And I'm prediabetic too, as I discovered during the blood tests for my procedure.

Rana seems to have carried his 'chest discomfort' for 3 days, after which it was too late for any intervention. This is a thin line for most people because it is very easy to mistake a 'discomfort' for stomach acidity, physical symptoms like muscle strain, or even 'heartburn' (which is quite literal!). In a way, I obsess over my daily run more so for this - to include a reasonably stress-inducing activity every day (since there is none) to see if I feel completely alright with it. This helped me identify that I did experience something unusual and it needed medical intervention. And since I felt normal if I stopped the source of stress (running at a faster speed), I ignored it for about a week. But since it persisted exactly only when I stressed, I realized that I was going through something predictably unusual and that needed a check. This 'discomfort' was not a pain at all, ironically. It felt, at best, as a steady tingling sensation on my shoulders and neck - nothing close to my heart! All the more reason to ignore it. But it occurred every single time I stressed myself by increasing the speed of my run, and subsided if I just walked at a slower pace.

Why is it needed for Chennai?? A long read! Share Max.

Firstly people who’s lands are being acquired for #Parandur Airport are being given :
🔹 3-4 times the market value of the land
🔹Alternate housing is being given to them just next to the project site . Tenders are already out for it
🔹Govt jobs are being promised to the people

➡️Now political parties should push the govt to make sure these benefits reach the people which they truly deserve rather than telling to completely drop the project!
➡️Chennai badly needs a new airport! The existing one at Meenambakkam has planned max capacity of 35 MPA and it’s the smallest in terms of area among all airports. Nearby Bengaluru (70MPA) or Hyderabad (70MPA) have bigger capacities. Mumbai & Delhi are building 2nd airports too. Bengaluru is going for 3rd airport
➡️One can’t acquire land at the existing airport. Getting land from OTA is close to impossible and cost of acquiring land at nearby Gerugambakkam is costlier than that at Parandur.
➡️ Existing one has a river too flowing through it and its layout has always been an issue given its narrow access via GST Rd. Cargo terminal is small as well and we have been losing to Bengaluru/Hyderabad in terms of Logistics ecosystem
➡️Airport is just not about the rich people flying. Reports suggest that more Indians will fly in the next 10 yrs. Indian Airlines have 1,000+ planes or order and we need airports to cater to them! Parandur with a full fledged airport will supports Logistics+ Warehousing ecosystem, Hotels, MRO etc providing jobs for Lakhs!
➡️4-5 sites were studied for a 2nd airport for Chennai & Parandur was found the best considering various factors! It’s literally impossible for find 4,000+ acres around Chennai without a water body or agri land!
➡️ Lastly the water bodies there at Parandur are man made lakes! The govt has setup a commission & studied its impact! New artificial lakes will be built with diversion water channel to prevent flooding! Any infra project will have its consequences! Mettur Dam was built submerging several villages. Today it’s the lifeline to several TN’s District!!

Plz support the project! It’s need of the hour! TN and Chennai deserves a world class airport. Plz keep politics away 🙏🙏
