The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has confirmed the earliest epigraphical record of Guntur, found in 7th-century copper plates issued by King Vishnuvardhana-II of the Eastern Chalukya dynasty. Plates are currently in private possession of Mr. Amit Lomte from Pune.

Key Highlights:

Original Name: ‘Kumturu'

Royal Seal: Features a lotus, crescent, and the royal title "Sri Vishamasiddhi" on the ring.

Exact Date: Issued on Magha Shuddha 15 during a lunar eclipse (c. Jan 22, 669 CE).

Linguistic Evolution: Transformed from Kumturu (c. 7th CE) ➔ Gomturu (c. 10th–14th CE via Ederu plates) ➔ Gunturu ➔ modern Guntur.

I am feeling deeply depressed today. The brutal annihilation of the entire Ganesh Chakraborty family is horrifying & yet, so far, not a single liberal, human-rights activist, or leftist has raised their voice in support of Hindus in Bangladesh.

His daughter was due to be married in just a few days. She was allegedly brutally raped, her eyes were gouged out, and acid was poured on her face. The sheer hatred and brutality directed against Hindus is deeply disturbing.

His wife too was raped and subjected to horrific torture. His 12-year-old son was forcibly circumcised. Ganesh himself was brutally killed.

Their only “crime” was that they were Hindus.

What makes this horror even more disturbing is the alleged treatment of the bodies after the killings—acid was reportedly poured over their faces before the bodies were dumped at the foot of the stairs.

The complete destruction of an entire Hindu family cannot simply be dismissed as an ordinary crime. If these reports are established, this would be a horrifying indictment of law and order, minority protection, and the failure of society to protect innocent human beings from communal violence.

Where are the voices that so loudly speak about human rights when the victims are Hindu?

Human rights cannot be selective. Outrage cannot depend on the religion of the victim. If you remain silent when an entire family is allegedly brutalised and killed because they are Hindu, that silence is not neutrality—it is hypocrisy.

A total of 80, this includes 34 male and 46 female participants and a few other volunteers who were camped in the nearby hotels... three volunteers and one doctor. But we have no official confirmation of any kind. But looking at the scale of destruction, it looks bad."

In Andhra Pradesh, a family of four from Kakinada went to a bridge in Rajamahendravaram over the Godavari river.

Panchayat Raj Assistant Engineer Nookaraju, his wife Meena, their daughter Sowjanya, and Sowjanya’s 10-year-old son Reyansh reportedly jumped into the river.

The child Reyansh survived. He was rescued by fishermen. But Nookaraju, Meena, and Sowjanya died.

At first, the case appeared to be a devastating family suicide.

Then investigators found two suicide notes. One was written by Nookaraju, and the other was written by Sowjanya.

Both reportedly named the same person: Sheikh Sadiq Khan, a rifle-shooting coach.

Sowjanya in her suicide note accused Sadiq Khan of prolonged harassment, threats, blackmail, and financial extortion. She claimed that private photographs/videos were being used to threaten her.

Sowjanya alleged that Sadiq repeatedly pressured her to convert to Islam.

Sowjanya also accused Sadiq Khan of being responsible for the death of her husband, who had died earlier. She claimed that her husband had been given a poisonous substance and that his death had been made to look like a suicide.

And, Nookaraju in his suicide note said that after the death of his son-in-law, Sadiq Khan entered his widowed daughter's life by offering to help her. He then began threatening and harassing the family.

Sowjanya’s 10-year-old son Reyansh who survived, told the police that Sadiq began visiting their house frequently and that he would often physically assault his mother and demand gold and money from her.

After their deaths, Sadiq Khan reportedly went missing from Andhra Pradesh.

After a search spanning five states, Sadiq Khan was traced to Meerut, where he was arrested with assistance of the UP police.

Three lives were lost, and a 10-year-old boy was left behind to face a future without his mother, grandparents, or family. Justice must be served.

A thought about Annaya @KChiruTweets is always a source of joy. While I walk along the memory lane on this special day ,these are few memories I have tumbled upon.

In our childhood, he went away from home to pursue his college education in Narsapur. And his homecoming for summer holidays was a festive season. A big pain and disappointment used to follow when he used to go back for his college. We all used to miss his absence and feel the vacuum. Home was never vibrant till he was back.

In my school days, just walking beside him was a proud moment. I used to feel like I am walking with the world's most important person; by then, he was just in college.

When he used to ride my father’s bike (Bullet - 350 cc) with his curly long hair, fit NCC Cadet body with bell bottoms and glasses - oh! it was an absolutely fanboy and hero-worshipping moment.

My Annaya was always a Hero for me even before he became a Hero.

In the early days of his film career, he brought a big blue bag from his first Singapore trip. In that blue bag I found my first tiny Lego helicopter, few remote cars, racing track, some comics, music tapes, tape recorder ,scented Yardley Co. powders, soaps ,few perfumes and other small gifts to others. He always brought us joy and smiles into our small home.

In subsequent years, when he got married, I was worried that he would be away from all of us. And I was crying silently in a room. Then he brought my Vadina and said, “Come, I will introduce you to a big man (Pedda Manishi) today.” They both were laughing while they found the reason for my tears.

Then, following years, I was taken to Chennai (then Madras) to stay with Annaya and Vadina. I don’t have enough words for the love and care they showered on me.

I had seen his struggle, hard work and injuries in shoots. Everyday he used to reach home in the middle of the night after 18 hours shift of laborious work in his sweat-drenched costumes and shoes in the Chennai’s heat and humidity; with hardly any strength to stand…

I used to feel guilty for living off on his hard work and sacrifice. But he never even uttered a word about my academic failures and lack of direction in my life.

The way he lighted up our family and relatives with his generosity and he extended the same spirit to his friends, producers, film fraternity and everyone he touched. He is one of the primary and key persons who acted as a cultural bridge between the South and Hindi film industry.He always believed in Indian cinema. Pratibandh and Aaj Ka GoondaRaj were two of his blockbusters in Hindi.

A tech-savvy person, his astounding medical knowledge, his philanthropic nature, a family man, superstardom to megastardom, Central Cabinet Minister, National Awards, highest civilian honors (Padma Vibhushan).

What he hadn’t seen and achieved, but he never rests. After a major spinal operation recently, he bounces back within no time with his strength training and goes back to work. Like a city never sleeps, he’s a man who never rests. He’s born with an unstoppable motor within. That’s why he’s become our beloved ‘Mega Star’ and my only Hero.

This is a win for Jharkhand students.

So what was Amit Shah doing during the Parliament session?
Where was he?

Here is the answer.

Probably the biggest operation in Indian history after Operation Octopus (the PFI crackdown) was carried out on 12th August under the full monitoring of Amit Shah.

An ISI-backed, Pakistan-based gangster and terrorist had created a terror network in India (the Shahzad Bhatti Network / Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan) using social media to radicalise Indian Muslims.

He and his network had been on the radar since last November. He had hired 250+ people into his network, and they were planning terrorist attacks across India on 15th August. The plan was to turn Independence Day into Mayhem Day.

On the night of 12th August, while you were sleeping, security agencies across 14 states launched a joint operation and arrested 253 operatives from all over India. This operation was kept completely secret.

One question keeps coming to my mind: Was Congress aware of this operation through inputs from Pakistan?

The way Congress targeted Amit Shah from 1st to 12th August and remained adamant about bringing him to Parliament to speak raises serious doubts.

After 12th August, Rahul Gandhi appeared unusually angry with Amit Shah. Was this the reason? I don’t know.

Indians will probably never fully know how many times Modi and Shah have quietly saved their lives.
