Was hit by amazing perfume while walking in @tunduru @maputo. Discovered source of smell was manacá de cheiro, Brunfelsia uniflora, in full bloom. Flowers changing colors! Beautiful bush from South America happy in @Mozambique! Smells perhaps better than Jasmine.

Giant milkweed (Calotropis procera) in the Shiva temple #Maputo #Mozambique. Found throughout dry places in India, the Arka plant is associated with Shiva, Ganesha and Suryadev. The Gods were performing a sacrificial ritual when they spilled milk, from which it emerged.
