@amazon I was just informed by customer service that teen accounts no longer exist. My 14 year old can no longer be part of any of my family sharing and will have to pay for prime separately. Is this actually true??
My school is having a Walkathon: Louie's High Flying Adventure to raise money for programs we love. I'd be thrilled if you could support me! https://t.co/Jvvt4XiIDW

@AmazonHelp My understanding is that digital books can not be purchased by teens at all, on any platform. Their accounts can no longer be used to log-in to the kindle app or a kindle device
@Narie Hello! Digital content can't be purchased from digital devices, like a Kindle, by anyone. The Buy Now button is no longer visible. You have to access the full website to place those orders, but the then download the books to their individual devices. (1/2) https://t.co/1XyLaGkcaN
@amazon@AmazonKindle I just learned that due to a recent Amazon change, teenagers with teen accounts cannot purchase eBooks or access Kindles. Why would this be?! Please do better and fix this
@amazon@AmazonKindle Giving my 13 year old direct access to my kindle account means removing all supervision. She would now have access to every book regardless of whether it is age appropriate
@amazon@AmazonKindle Converting my 13 year old's account to an adult account would remove all the protections the teen account currently gives us when she is shopping on the Amazon app
Happy 58th birthday to Medicare and Medicaid! I’ll keep fighting to stop Republicans from slashing these powerfully important programs—because health care is a basic human right, and we fight for basic human rights.
