We now have CAA3. In the words of Zvobgo, it is “the most calculated and deliberate attack on our liberties.” Its promulgation opens the door to, and indeed ushers in, another wave of challenges. These challenges will be pursued in many ways. We shall not abdicate. We shall not be cowed. When the motherland calls on men and women to stand up and be counted, we shall be such men and women. Our contract cannot be rewritten by a few. Our destiny cannot be determined by coin. We shall fall only by natural causes, not by the devices of a few corrupt men. So help us God.

🚨🚨 BREAKING: Neymar announces his RETIREMENT FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL. 👋🏼🇧🇷
“I tried. I tried. It started here at Met Life stadium and I finished here. It is now over”, Ney said after the game.
His story with the Brazilian national team is over.
Indeed, my dear brother, I have heard about the Madlanga Commission. I am glad that not a single black African foreign national has been before the Madlanga Commission. Doesn’t that tell a story? Doesn’t it tell us that the real problem is not black African foreign nationals, but something much closer to home?
If one hospital can allegedly be looted of R2 billion, and then someone chooses to go after a poor Zimbabwean woman selling tomatoes at a traffic light, what does that tell us about that person’s mindset?
Why persecute a single mother trying to make an honest living instead of marching against those accused of looting R2 billion from just one hospital?
Some people blame black African migrants for the problems in South Africa’s hospitals, yet allegations of billions being stolen come from within those very institutions. Surely that tells us where the real problem lies. Doesn’t it?
Instead of scapegoating the poor and the vulnerable, you should be demanding accountability from those who steal public funds on a massive scale. That is how you fix a country. Not by harassing a woman selling tomatoes at a traffic light.

Part of this morning was spent thanking students from Northlea and Hugh Beadle Schools in the @CityofBulawayo who participated in a clean up of Sauerstown suburb in the City.
It is wonderful to see schoolchildren, business, the elderly, Clr Adrian Moyo, the @PoliceZimbabwe and our own Cleansing Department work together to clean up our City.
In thanking them all I spoke of our vision to transform Bulawayo into the cleanest City in #Africa. We can only achieve this if each one of us - no matter how old, what our station, gender or ethnicity - work together to achieve this goal .
"Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph..."

💌Today, we remember Father Zimbabwe. He will forever be honored for denouncing violence, believing in the potential of young people, and fighting tirelessly for freedom.
Your spirit lives forever, Vice President Dr. Joshua Mqabuko Nyongolo.
On this day in July 1999 Zimbabwe lost one of its founding fathers, Dr. Joshua Nkomo. For some of us this day serves as a reminder that freedom is never a finished project, it is a responsibility each of us must defend. As our country faces an unprecedented assault on its foundational constitutional pillars, the generation Nkomo believed in is being called to speak out and act in defense of the national democratic project. Continue to rest well father Zimbabwe.
