@CadClayton@THORChain@RujiraNetwork Yes Thorchain nodes.
There's 9 validators from the Kujira validator set that opted to spin up nodes. We chose not to pursue that for economic reasons. It turned out to be too big of cost for us.
As we are getting closer to the @THORChain merge, we have decided to wind down our validator on @RujiraNetwork this month.
It has been a pleasure supporting this network and we are looking forward to the next chapter of this saga!
Thank you to everyone that supported us! β€οΈ
@Hola_Ologe@THORChain@RujiraNetwork Oh definitely!
The validator was a way for us to support our favorite ecosystem through governance.
Because of the merge that's not longer an option, so we are going back to being shit-posters and diamond handed investors π
@CadClayton@THORChain@RujiraNetwork Definitely!
Since the Kujira chain will be shutting down eventually and in the short term run on "low power mode" with a limited validator set, we found it best to step down.
It's no secret that we've been running on fumes for a long time. So this felt like the right choice.
Right now we are still figuring out why none of the alarms went off when they should have, as we have systems that are meant to notify us.
We are very sorry for this!
Our $KUJI validator has some issues at the moment and we are working with our provider to get it up and running asap!
Unfortunately this means that the validator got jailed due to not producing blocks over an extended period.
