We are fortunate to have an opportunity to appeal the local board’s decisions to the TN Charter Commission and are confident they will review our proposal carefully, thoroughly, and w/o bias. We’re confident that process will lead to a better outcome, and we will update you soon.

We’re disappointed to share that last night, the Metro Nashville Public School Board voted 6-2-1 to reject our proposal to open Nashville Classical II. While this decision is very disappointing, it was not unexpected.

The history of edu. in our country is the story of small groups of people fighting to be seen, heard, & served by their local systems. It’s why our public schools serve children w/ disabilities, why we educate English language learners, and why charter schools exist in Nashville.
