According to the European Commission, member states mustn’t allow cars with Russian license plates to enter the EU.
As of this morning, Russian registered vehicles can't enter #Estonia from Russia.
The suffering of Ukrainians continues, so the price of aggression must increase.
84 years ago, Molotov-Ribbentrop pact divided Europe. Today we remember victims of totalitarian regimes.
Russia’s imperialist goals haven’t changed: conquer Ukraine, re-establish spheres of influence, weaken democracies. The free world must stand strong and united against this.
@maria_drutska Putin: If you support Ukraine, NO GAS!
West: ok
Putin: Understand? No gas!
West: yes ok
Putin: Nothing
Putin: Hello?
Putin: No gas? Winter? Cold?
West: we manage, thanks
Putin: ...
Putin: You can still have some gas?
Putin: Hello
West: thanks we're fine
To all the women and girls out there I want to say that you are amazing. You are strong. You are capable and you will change the world. I believe in you.

Shelling across Ukraine including #Kyiv shows #Russia's terrorist tactics.
This makes it even more acute to establish tribunal for crime of aggression. I suggested to @vonderleyen EU could help lead these efforts.
Ukraine needs modern anti-missile systems and air defence fast.
#Russia’s deliberate bombing of civilian targets across Ukraine is a manifestation of cynicism and weakness. #Slovakia stands by #Ukraine and its people.
What is happening now in #Kyiv is sickening.
It shows the world, again, the regime we are faced with: One that targets indiscriminately. One that rains terror & death down on children.
This is criminal. They will be held to account. Ukraine will win. Europe will not look away.
Russia has demonstrated how energy can be used as a weapon.
We must ensure Europe's energy security and work on different tracks: end dependence on Russia’s hydrocarbons, decrease energy prices, ensure security of supply, diversify sources, and invest in green energy. 4/5
We need to achieve accountability. Impunity cannot be an option.
Russia’s crimes, including crime of aggression, crimes against humanity and possibly genocide cannot remain unpunished.
EU could help lead efforts to establish tribunal for crime of aggression. 3/5
Ukraine’s advances on the battlefield mean that we have been on the right track in supporting Ukraine.
But we must increase our support for Ukraine to help them win this war.
Especially now when Russia is escalating in the most serious way since 24 February. 2/5
I last welcomed @vonderleyen in Estonia year ago. A lot has changed - Russia is waging a war against a sovereign European country.
Thank you, Ursula, for your leadership in building and upholding EU unity in response to Russia’s aggression and in supporting #Ukraine. 1/5
This coming winter may be hard, but it’s the price we must pay to stop Russian aggression and its imperialist dream. The cost otherwise would be much higher.
And the only way to do so is by demonstrating unity and strength.

Russia began the day with massive terror. There are dead and injured in the center of Kyiv – civilians that were doing their morning business. Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi – Russians target civilians. This is a true face of the terrorist state #RussiaIsATerroristState
