What says this is the best case that the state had to argue? Evidence? Is the state operating off of the most convenient outcome, and seeking information regarding that end, or did they assess a multi-variable crime with extraordinary consequences? In this case, I simply believe that the state has not put forth a strong case. Not at all. This cannot be the best they can do.

You are correct, that is most certainly what is happening. The question that myself, and quite a few other concerned citizens, have is WHY this is happening. Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be true. How has the state, in any manner, eliminated any impossibility in this investigation?

I'll say that the jury can only operate on the evidence argued in court. What the state has failed to establish, in my observation, is that he is the most likely scenario for Kirk's murder. The level of implausible events is very, very high. We are also operating from a shared experience of being lied to, openly and often, by the state appartus at several key points in our recent history.
