The author’s points aren’t bad; but this didn’t go nearly deep enough into the topic. I mean, abstraction is what we do!
Abstraction Can Make Your Code Worse https://t.co/KHnCdc0x4H via @YouTube
@beatanichisato Hello Beatani, I hope you're feeling better.
In your last RFA stream, you claimed a specific fan leaked messages of yours. Did you present evidence in public that they leaked those messages? There is no Tweet or community post that mentions it.
Thanks beforehand.
@AxiisFW@beatanichisato Okay:
"It was so hard that they gave up."
Odd:
"It's hard that they gave up."
Suddenly okay:
"It's unlikely that they gave up"
In my opinion, it has to do with the fact that certain word pairings are more natural.
@AxiisFW@beatanichisato Yes, it's odd to combine "impossible" and "that", and I've actually never heard those words together. I think it's simpler to understand from elementary grammar rules, but it's also an example of how collocation makes a word choice sound completely odd.
