Members who have not already done so can use our self-audit checklist to assess their position & use the template messages to obtain information from their employer about how their needs will be met in considering the wider reopening of their school. https://t.co/qY5WrUkg9D
There is further advice for members on the reopening of schools in our Coronavirus FAQs at https://t.co/tlj42UoQv7
We have established a dedicated team to support members & tackle circumstances where employers are failing to act appropriately to protect members' health & safety.

@bigjazza1@allisonpearson @NickBoles @RHeadland What's 20 years experience say about someone who, from humble beginnings, went to one of our country's reputedly top universities, at a time when there were no 'uni fees' and student grants were readily available to allow equal access for all. And excelled themself with a 2:2 ?
@evertonw@allisonpearson @NickBoles @RHeadland Why allow those able to pay* to decide which bits, if any, of the NC they will study. Surely, if its good enough for the masses then it's good enough for all ?
*or those who happen to be admitted to a free school or academy to whom the NC is not applied / required ?
@evertonw@allisonpearson @NickBoles @RHeadland Don't you think the country would be a better place if every child had to have the same basic education. If the haves and the have nots had to mix for 6 hrs a day, five days a week, then decide what extras they wished to do outside that.
@evertonw@allisonpearson @NickBoles @RHeadland I say they should be free to spend THEIR OWN money, but not the tax payers' via tax breaks for their fee paying schools. Why should 'the many' in effect subsidise 'the few' (even if they take in a couple of kids unable to pay...)
Johnson’s first instinct was to lie.
Without hesitation.
This should be what we’re discussing - not the party affiliation of the father whose daughter is ill in the hospital.
@AngelaRayner@StocktonNASUWT Never mind higher starting salaries trying to attract new cannon fodder... we have experienced teachers, years into their careers, pushed out of positions to save money. They struggle to get off supply as deemed too expensive. Prioritise getting those teachers back into schools.
