for hobby projects. retro stuff (reimplementing old protocols, telephony..), a bit of reverse engineering (wifi driver for an old console), homelab stuff (vms, networking, firewalls..), also worked on private servers for flash games
@ryloken68 i agree with that, it just feels like most of those pro-ai posts are general and not specific to the mkwii decomp. i believe that using AI is fine as long as you already know (most of) what it will do
@nep_4l étant en entreprise je vois bien la quasi totalité de mes collègues qui développaient à la mano désormais demander à Claude code de développer pour eux. la même en université. échantillon non représentatif, mais là j'ai eu 3 échantillons différents avec le même résultat
@nep_4l parce que les gens purement et simplement pro-IA ne veulent pas voir les vrais problèmes et se contentent de râler sur les anti-IA.

@Jeli162 it seems to me like people are also using this project to say that they're against GenAI unless it's for programming as long as it's "used correctly" but I reckon most AI users definitely do not use it correctly
@OQqovop yea that's my point and my biggest problem about AI, but because 5% AI users use it correctly "as a tool" then we can ignore these problems for the remaining 95%
