On Wednesday, Melissa Lucio is slated to be executed by the state of Texas. In this searing examination of the case, @RLSWrites shows how investigators got it wrong from the very beginning, thanks to tunnel vision and high-pressure interrogation tactics.

Keep calling! We have just 8 days to stop the execution of Melissa Lucio for a crime that never occurred. Will you call @GregAbbott_TX and urge him to stop the execution and grant Melissa clemency? 956-446-2866 #SaveMelissaLucio https://t.co/qTIujYxF8k
Since October, I have been paying to have all of my personal information scrubbed off of the internet with the hope that any future harassment would stop. It hasn’t obviously.
In the last week, the calls have picked up again. This harasser has started calling me and my mother.
He even went as far to tell her that if I didn’t give up my username, he would commit suicide.
Not so fun fact: In October 2020, I started getting harassed by an anonymous man (via @Google voice) who told me I needed to give up my username. He sent me text messages saying he knew my address in NYC.
