A consultant yesterday, a teacher today.
A bad government affects everyone.
Please get your PVC and vote wisely. Don’t wait until you’re affected directly.
Imagine how good it will feel one day to realize that you actually became the person you kept picturing in your head. Imagine if all those dreams come true.
I can't wait fr.
I am sick to my stomach watching that video of the teacher being beheaded in Oyo State.
You dedicate your life to teaching mathematics and building the next generation, only to be abducted and slaughtered.
This is not life!
The primary duty of ANY government is the protection of lives. If a teacher cannot even be safe inside a classroom, then nobody is safe. Security operatives are dying, and citizens are bleeding. We are not angry enough!
We cannot normalise this madness. The government must wipe out these monsters and bring the remaining teachers home alive. My heart bleeds for Mr Oyedokun. He did not deserve this. My deepest condolences go to his family.
Please @oyostategovt@seyimakinde@NGRPresident. Something HAS to be done!
The other day a patients relative beat up a house officer and he lost his life
Today Efcc beat up a cardiothoracic consultant
And you’re here asking why NMA should go on strike
You’re very very stupid
🚨 BREAKING: THE THEATRE IS NO LONGER SACRED. TOP SURGEON BRUTALIZED AT UUTH. 🇳🇬
We are receiving horrific reports from the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH). This isn't just a news update; it is a direct assault on the medical profession.
This morning, May 12, 2026, armed and masked operatives identified by eyewitnesses as personnel from the EFCC stormed the federal facility in a commando-style raid. They didn't come to arrest a criminal; they came for Professor Eyo Ekpe.
Professor Ekpe is a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is the Deputy CMAC of UUTH. He is one of the few specialists standing between life and death for millions of Nigerians in the South-South.
Witnesses say the operatives were ruthless. Staff members who tried to intervene were beaten and threatened with firearms. Imagine being a Professor of Medicine and the Deputy CMAC of a tertiary hospital, only to be dragged out of your office like a common thief.
Reports suggest this assault was triggered by a dispute over a medical report for a relative of a high-ranking official. However, the EFCC has yet to issue an official statement explaining the reason for the raid itself, as the entire situation simply does not make sense.
We are calling on the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA): How much more can we take? If a Professor of Surgery is not safe in his own hospital, who is?
Nigeria is bleeding specialists, and today, the system just cut its own throat. We demand the immediate release of Professor Ekpe and a total apology for this desecration of our health sector. 🩺✊
It was a delay in issuing a death certificate that caused a whole Professor of Surgery, the only Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Akwa Ibom and Deputy CMAC of UUTH to be harrassed by officials of EFCC.
Wildly behaved officials that may be just SSCE holders.
What a country!
How do you drag a whole Professor of Cardiothoracic surgery out of theatre to humiliate in front of the whole hospital?!!!!
Nigerian doctors are not angry enough!💔
JAMB says UTME will no longer be required for future educationists.O'level is already compromised, UTME was the last quantitative hedge against malpractice. Without a new gatekeeping mechanism, we are not expanding access, we are certifying dysfunction.

Dear Men, please learn to protect your wife at all costs.
Our first son was 4 months old and we decided to go visit my husband's family.
My husband carried our baby using a carrier and I was holding a small hand bag. There was no car then, so we took a bike.
Upon reaching their home, we met my father in law and exchanged pleasantries, my mother in law came and took our baby to put him on her back.
A few hours later it was time to go and something I will never forget happened. My husband went to my mother in law and carried our son and put him in the carrier.
My father in law snapped and said why should it be my husband carrying the baby , that it is the work of his wife not him, he said look at her she's carrying only a hand bag and you're the one carrying the baby stop doing that.
I was so shocked and as I made a move to go collect our baby, my husband said stop right there. I stood still o.
He then turned to his father and said, dad with all due respect sir this is my family, my wife, my son,my future.
This is how I chose to run my home, she carried him for 10 months, went through so much pain to bring him forth, and now it is my turn to also do my part.
His dad said okay, sorry for interfering and that was the end.
Guys at that point, I said to myself, yes, this husband by God's grace I choose am well.
Imagine if he had supported his dad?
Many spouses don't protect their partners from their family members, however you treat him or her before your family is the exact same way they will reciprocate.
The END
