6 year old students are not too young to understand the issues of racism, power, & privilege. It is our job, as teachers, to step in and start the conversations and incorporate awareness of these issues into our curriculum. #TCH26410

A zero-tolerance policy does not allow students to turn their behaviors and mistakes around and grow. I find it hard to believe that students are being suspended for mistakes that most adults still make once they’ve been out of school for years. #TCH26410
