I told my grandma I was seeing someone, and the first thing she asks me is if it’s a man or a woman. 😂 I’ve never dated a woman, but grandma was open to it!

@jacobplitman Reminder: Average American housing prices rose more from 2020-2021 than wages for the bottom 1/4 of incomes has from 1975-2018...13.5% for income, over 16% for housing.
undeniably the hardest move ever pulled at the Oscars and one of the few that had a measurable impact in the real world. the mental image of 6 security guards restraining john wayne is also great.
@FleeThought@TheDoleObserver @carnage84587_YT @mollydeez@PotatOverlord Speeding is also an automatic fail, yet so many people do it. I think I’d rather have someone take their time parking in front of me while I wait to pass than someone zipping around the highway changing lanes and speeding past everyone because they are an overconfident driver.
@sahana_srini When people repeat stories, it's not always for the recipient. It's for the person telling the story. They get the joy of remembering that one time. I love it when my dad tells a story I've heard numerous times. He gets so much joy by telling us his stories.

@Forbes I don’t want to hear anybody complain about immigrants not paying taxes. They work agriculture/farming jobs that we don’t want to work, and we take that for granted every time we set our dinner table.
@hauntingit I break mine before cooking too. Although, in some Asian cultures, they believe the longer the noodle, the longer your life or more prosperity. I don’t like long noodles though.
