#BREAKING The Andrews Govt has confirmed that the Mandates and Restrictions that crippled families and businesses were never actually required. There must be a ROYAL COMMISSION!!!
It’s not possible to know the intentions of the government’s decision but the release of refugees inside the country without paying attention to those imprisoned offshore who are facing the most difficult conditions suggests the decision is at least in part motivated by election.
Who can explain why this govt finally accepted the NZ deal to settle 450 people who were/are on Nauru, but chucked another $482.5 million at Nauru for another year of … exactly what???

My friends are still in prison for no crime and I cannot forget that. I got excited the day I went to the library and saw a lot of different books that I had never seen in my life. Straight away I thought of Suleiman, a very sweet person and a reader. He’s still in detention

Grace Tame is not a public servant, a diplomat, a photo-op model or the property of the government.
She’s an advocate who’s watched Morrison fail, belittle and ignore survivors all year. Why would she smile?

I came to Australia asking for safety when I was just 15 years old.
Now I am 24 and still in detention.
If I'm not a refugee, why would I endure such a difficult time as a child if I have the option to go back to where I came from? Even then, I'm not safe in detention either.
