@bbcquestiontime The fact that able-bodied people with zero qualifications or personal experience on disabilities are deciding my future is scary. Why do I even have doctors if they are going to refuse to listen to them just to save money.
@bbcquestiontime Everyone is made to believe being on disability benefits is a ‘cushy’ life. It’s not! It’s a ball & chain, rope around your neck. The constant anxiety I feel whether I’m going to lose my life line & end up homeless at any moment seriously makes me ill.
@CarmenVerite@JeremyVineOn5@SholaMos1@GeoffNorcott@alexisconran Everyone is one illness or accident away from potentially becoming disabled & relying on benefits. Where are these ‘suitable jobs’? The government closed Remploy factories that provided jobs for disabled people. Most able-bodied people are struggling with finding employment.
@JeremyVineOn5@SholaMos1@GeoffNorcott@alexisconran Whenever something goes wrong or the government want to distract the public it’s always ‘I know how we’ll fix this, we’ll target the most vulnerable members of society’.
@SU2CUK@Channel4 I’ve just watched the episode. Eye opening , informative and very touching. Thank you Rhod Gilbert for opening your personal world to us all & being so honest about just how scary cancer is.
‘You’re not making your home’ yes, but you always give them houses with expensive problems & limited budget. This show irritates me, but I can’t stop watching it haha #thegreathousegiveaway
He was very insistent that they get rid of the textured ceilings even though they just wanted to freshen them up. Then they will moan they have gone over budget and time. Can’t win with this show. #thegreathousegiveaway
They always say they should be saving money, failed to tell them the windows & floorings needed replacing & the property is full of someone else’s rubbish. That costs money to rectify. They can only do so much themselves. #thegreathousegiveaway
@HannahFord95 I feel like he was more hands on when they were younger because he wanted to be around Amber. Now he’s sorted his feelings out he’d rather get his hair cut (that was already short) then spend time with his children who had nowhere to stay.
@RaeRaeAnnax At first I thought it was just how it was edited but all you hear is her going on about how she needs a break, it’s hard etc whilst Beth looks after the children. She chose to have 2 children to a guy who would rather get his hair cut than look after them.
@RaeRaeAnnax He’s not in love with her. He’s a controlling manipulative man child. When he was with her all he did was criticise everything she did & control her.
