@JenniferLahl I gave birth three days ago. I hate to imagine how scary that would be for my son to be taken by some people who purchased his existence who he doesn’t even know. Sad
@JenniferLahl A PR move dementor’s kiss can’t repair a child’s life after being born on commission and intentionally separated from their gestational mother. Normalization of a shameful act of child abuse. A newborn baby recognizes the sounds and smells he knows.
@aboutKP@Yahoo Hypocrisy is an emotional issue so it is hard for readers to think logically when authority makes hypocritical claims elsewhere. EG KP telling us to think critically whilst conforming to gender ideologies, even medical protocols, which conflate sex vs. self-identified gender ID.
@aboutKP@Yahoo Appeals to authority must be questioned critically too. IE “why do you think that this argument is credible? Does the position of the person who posed this idea or content matter to the ultimate credibility of this content?”
@aboutKP@Yahoo The parent tweet is a fine example, although these questions are good starting points and the statement is good advice, depending on how you look at it, KP is bolstering their credibility bothering to quote an LCSW or conversely, KP is providing unneeded appeal to authority
@JenniferLahl Hormones got political… I expressed concern to an abortion provider about post term mood. She told me most women feel “more sane” as the pregnancy hormones leave their bodies. I’m only content when I’m pregnant, my mom was this way, it felt like my existence ruined her storyline
@JenniferLahl Every pregnancy is different! People sure make wild claims about hormones and mood… Reminds me of people who claim that synth estrogen turns a male into a female. Simple, right!? This man’s intuitive diagnostics should make him rich
@JenniferLahl Terrible authorship! “I’m going to make this couple have a baby that’s going to die at birth.” As if it is the gestational mother’s sole responsibility to shoulder the risk of having children! Man for $40k that risk relief is a hell of a deal!
@ProfCheit Got an odd paperback, a self-published in 70s Costa Rica, part non-fiction, part manifesto (the most beautiful, every dot connected, all theory considered, w/ ‘science’!) @ least 80% needs an editor. It’s part of its charm. It primarily relies on Ppl eater theory, showing its era
@ShawnSTOM777@MistairRogers@POTUS Thoughtful compromise, not really that fun or fiery of a campaign promise though. Thoughtful policy needs some shelter in campaign policy like no TV/media ads until 3 wks before election date.
@CalCourts@CAgovernor@GavinNewsom In March 2020 I watched due process get tossed with the bath water. It was treated as a bonus for enjoying after austerity ends. The people needed emergency help, that’s fair, but lacking. Happy that in CA we are devoting resources to this fundamental piece of our democracy
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd consider that the mother may have also not wanted a child, but she couldn’t get an abortion (she shouldn’t have to explain her medical needs either.) She can’t just sign a form which legitimizes her abandonment of her duties, because she didn’t want a baby. You Entitled snots
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd So it’s totally unfair to act as though a female is responsible for 100% of the child’s existence just because she refused an abortion. Abortions are risky and don’t always work. Not putting your genitals together, keeping sperm away from eggs is tried and true.
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd See the false equivalence in comparing gestational responsibility with financial responsibility to your child. Preg and birth is 100% female responsibility while child welfare is both parents 50/50. Birth puts child welfare responsibility into effect. But conception is 50/50!
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd They cry:
“A woman is 100% responsible for the welfare of her born child because she could have gotten an abortion, but chose not to. Since ending the pregnancy was unilaterally her choice, I should be able to unilaterally end my responsibility because I feel like it. WAH”
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd The pregnancy and birth responsibility is 100% female and NO, the idea that men shouldn’t have to pay for the welfare of their unexpected children if they disagree with its mother’s decision to continue a pregnancy, is misogynist BS. In effect these man babies are saying:
@wordsanddeeds2@dremilyportermd They don’t have to sign an agreement, fathers are responsible to children in all 50 states. Males should NOT have any responsibility for the pregnancy. They shouldn’t have ANY ability to dictate our health care. Pregnancy is a female only medical issue.
@GaiusOctavius33@ishapiro If Americans can afford full sized washers and separation of church and state……why can’t Germans?
If Americans can afford to control their monetary policy…why can’t the Eurozone?
If Americans can afford to head the UN Security Council…why can’t anyone else?
