My favorite Ritter story: in 2016, at age 66, Ritter went back to school to got his bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, 44 years after he was expelled from San Diego St university for protesting the Vietnam war.
LinkNYC is more than a decade old and has never quite reached its full potential. IMO the use case for public WiFi is mostly gone with 5G...but the screens should have always shown debates, major public sporting events and real community news.
