Next, I’m thrilled to be joining @UTSC and @ICESOntario as a Postdoctoral Fellow working with @HilaryKBrown, where I’ll be studying the impact of reproductive factors on chronic disease risk in women.
Some news! I successfully defended my PhD thesis in Epidemiology at @UCalgary on #Breastfeeding intentions, difficulties, and outcomes in mothers with chronic health conditions. Many thanks to my supervisors, examiners, and wonderful village of family, friends, and colleagues.
It also renewed my deep sense of responsibility and commitment as a scientist trained to study reproductive and women’s health. I’m honoured to have earned this PhD and to be part of the community working to improve and protect women’s health across the life course.
