@lancs_rob@pnefc@HerGameToo You asked why. I've told you why and how it makes some women feel, I don't claim to speak for all. You can choose to ignore and never change your actions or reflect and possibly change to make your club more inclusive for all (changing a few words in a song is not a big ask),
@lancs_rob@pnefc@HerGameToo it's vulgar, unnecessary and not inclusive. As someone who takes 3 and 6 year old girls to football I cringe at them hearing this, and hate that young boys grow up thinking it's OK to speak about women in this objectifying way
@pne198687@emilyyyhh@EFL Appreciate the acknowledgement. Agree that incident which was about a metre away from the linesman so God knows what he saw. There's also been many missed penalty appeals/poor decisions from other refs this season, so it's fair to complain about the standard of refs in general
@emilyyyhh@EFL Glad we agree. So now let's support the women who are smashing through glass ceilings, not hold them to different standards, or let a few questionable decisions tar years of progress and a whole gender
@emilyyyhh@EFL Even just the tone of "they're trying to prove a point to let women do it" highlights where we are coming from. Whether people will admit it or not a female official has a bigger spotlight and higher bar to hit as most assume incompetence before a whistle is blown
@samhornby6 Keep sex out of your post references then! One display does not tar a whole gender. That is sexism and you don't even understand or realise your biases. I'm simply pointing them out.
