🚨For almost 55 hours straight, Kyiv and the surrounding region have been under near-continuous Russian attack.

Among the sites hit: Roshen, Comfy, Fora, Aurora, Budynok Ihrashok, a UNICEF humanitarian aid warehouse, a Nova Poshta depot, and warehouses holding books from Ukrainian publishers and bookstores including A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA, Vivat, Osnovy and Readeat.

At least 14 warehouses have been damaged in the Kyiv region in just two days.

Food, humanitarian aid, deliveries, books, businesses – this is what Russia is destroying while people are trying to live and work under continuous attack.

Today, we officially addressed the International Telecommunications Union @ITU requesting an exclusion of Ukraine’s national territory from the declared service areas of all beams of the Russian military satellite system 'Rassvet' satellite networks in all frequency bands.

The relevant note has been passed to ITU Radiocommunication Bureau through our Permanent Mission to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.

The purpose for Russia to use such satellites over the territory of Ukraine is absolutely clear and it has nothing to do with civilian purposes. Rather, Moscow wants to use them to assist its war effort, murder of people and genocidal crimes.

We call upon all partners to support our position and take all possible steps to block 'Rassvet' from functioning — not only over Ukraine’s sovereign territory, but also over other countries’ sovereign territories.

We will continue to advance international diplomatic countermeasures against 'Rassvet'. We thank the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies for their swift coordination.

За підсумками доповіді Омбудсмана очолювана мною Координаційна рада з питань захисту прав ветеранів війни, полонених та зниклих безвісти осіб бере в роботу надані рекомендації. Ми зосередимось на розв’язанні системних питань: спрощенні процедур оформлення виплат і статусів, забезпеченні якісної медичної та психологічної реабілітації, а також на всебічній допомозі сім’ям полонених і зниклих безвісти.

Тільки поєднавши зусилля держави та громади, ми зможемо забезпечити ветеранам гідні умови, повагу й реальну турботу, на які вони заслуговують щодня.
