The author already made it pretty clear in the pamphlet that Gojo is very open-minded. But like, did Millieyy actually go check out the original work herself?

You’re treating symbolism as if it were explicit characterization.

Gojo dreaming about his youth doesn’t prove he’s emotionally attached to the past. People dream about some old periods of their lives sometimes but not all the time

The point of that extra is actually that he wakes up and returns to his students. The dream contrasts his past with the life he chose in the present.

The airport scene also isn’t evidence by itself. It takes place in a space filled with people from Gojo’s past because that’s the period of life the scene is reflecting on.Saying “his younger self appears, therefore he’s attached to the past” is an interpretation, not something Gege explicitly states.

Seeing the body of the friend you personally killed would shock almost anyone.That’s a normal human reaction. Shock doesn’t automatically equal being unable to move on or being attached to the past.

What textual evidence says Gojo is “attached” rather than simply remembering?
