Woke up this morning in a country with women serving as President, PM, Dep. PM, as well as the most women MPs in the House of Assembly in the history of Barbados & a gender balanced Senate on the government side. What a time! π§π§π§π§π§π§

#BREAKING - Sir Shridath Ramphal, famed Guyanese lawyer & diplomat passes away at 95.
Sir Ramphal served in multiple capacities throughout his life namely as Assistant AG of the West Indies Federation (1958-1962), Foreign Minister of Guyana (1972-1975) and Commonwealth Secretary General (1975-1990)
The Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy and Services at UWI Cave Hill in Barbados is named in his honour.
