what happened recently with the DAU statistics, along with the discovery that the reddit account sharing it had only been created very recently and had no posting history, is a good reminder that we need to be especially careful right now.
we have no way to verify where it comes from, which means we shouldn’t accept it at face value.
moreover, no real source was given, and the post was deleted when people started to question it.

interestingly, the advice it seemed to support wasn’t even fundamentally bad: avoiding logging in is part of our boycott strategy.

the real concern was the effect that unverified information can have on our morale: it almost created the impression that everything we’ve been doing has accomplished nothing, and that’s not true at all.

if anything, i think this is a sign that we should expect more attempts to discourage us or convince us that our efforts don’t matter.
that’s exactly why it’s so important not to let unverified claims dictate our actions or our emotions.

unless we receive an official announcement, i don’t think we should change course. we should continue doing what we’ve been doing: maintaining the boycott, speaking up for valko, and supporting one another.

despite infold’s silence across multiple platforms, we’ve continued to make our voices heard.
we’ve seen our campaign spread globally, bring people together, and keep this issue in the spotlight.

we’re not shouting into the void. people are listening, and our collective voice is making an impact.
that’s why it’s more important than ever to stay patient, stay united, and stay focused.

I have seen so many people lose morale or express how scared they are that everyone will just stop talking about Valko, and I get it. We have been doing A LOT in such a short time and people are tired. I am here to fix all that. Today I am bringing everyone together so we can proceed in a sustainable manner that will absolutely work long term. Take a moment to process.

🐺I need you to take a deep breath and accept that we might not get him soon. I need you to let go of needing copium and hopium and relax a little because you don’t need to grieve him right now. He is not gone. It's not like they'd ever delete his files.

🐺We don’t know the details and that’s okay. Even if the government is involved, even if the competition is messing around with everyone, it will pass. They might have to change the window scene. Whatever. They can learn from their mistakes and do things properly next time. We aren’t going to believe any rumors anymore, get baited or care about anything that isn’t in our power. We will fully expect that his PV's will get taken down from X for either revision or a tactic to lower our morale and won't care because that doesn't change the fact that we have power and a lot of it.

🐺The fact remains that Infold doesn’t have a choice but to care about their reputation. That’s why they gave in to the bullies in the first place. We are going keep pressure on them in places they CANNOT IGNORE FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT. If we keep their ratings low. If we keep asking for Valko on every official post and keep holding them accountable. If we keep him alive and trending. If we keep boycotting every launch and keep them down in the charts. If we commit to this together there is NO WAY we aren’t getting him back. We will also keep encouraging our CN sisters to do the same. Haters will tire out. We will not. We can probably get him back by the end of the year or sooner.

🐺We will work out what is easiest for everyone. No one will need to give up their life and all their time for this. We will coordinate hashtags better, split into shifts and just relax and have fun with this. And along the way for those who want to do more, we can get some articles going, more charity work in his name, and whatever fun projects we come up with. We can keep building our positive Valko portfolio.

🐺So if you want Valko back...yes. We can get him back. Just accept that it may take a while and join the discord.

ABOUT THE DISCORD SERVER:

This will be our boycott headquarters where we will get all our shit together. All the websites, resources, art, all we've done and will do. We will keep clean records.
