One year ago today, Manitoba confirmed its first case of COVID-19. Below I share a few thoughts on the Government of Manitoba’s response which has balanced necessary public health measures with economic supports for Manitobans. #mbpoli

Trump’s latest unhinged threat to Canada is one part toddler level temper tantrum, and one part $ grift.
My hunch is the Trump organization just got some kind of payoff from Detroit’s Maroun family, who own the competing Ambassador Bridge. They have spent 20 years lobbying against the new bridge to maintain their monopoly on one of the world’s busiest border crossings.
The right response from Canadian government leaders is to ignore the insanity.
Of course if he actually tries to block operation of the Howe Bridge, the Governments of Canada and Michigan as its co-owners should immediately challenge the Administration in US courts.
In the meantime, let’s keep calm and carry on.

It’s official: Ontario’s new advertising campaign in the U.S. has launched.
Using every tool we have, we’ll never stop making the case against American tariffs on Canada. The way to prosperity is by working together.

@jasonlietaer@guygiorno was teaching our MPM class that day. We were all waiting for him to arrive when he ran into the classroom and told us what happened. An awful day.
Brilliant. Shame that the @bcndp chose to move away from bridge in the first place. This would be massive for Surrey, Richmond, Delta and the entire Lower Mainland.
Great stuff @JohnRustad4BC!!! #bcpoli
NEW - Conservative leader John Rustad says if he’s elected he will look again at the replacement for Massey Tunnel. His priority will be finding a replacement as quickly as possible and would consider going back to the bridge plan proposed by BC Liberal government. #bcpoli
First word that comes to mind after seeing this: HOPE.
BCians, and Cdns, have lost hope. A government that makes the dream of home ownership realistic and affordable is what is needed, so so badly! #bcpoli@Conservative_BC
I’m proud to have announced the Rustad Rebate on Rent & Mortgage.
BC Conservatives will provide a tax credit on up to $3K per month of rent & mortgage interest, so you don’t pay income tax on housing.
Life in BC is expensive, so we’re giving hardworking families relief. #bcpoli
