On 12/12/23 Senior Nathan Demarest signed the National Letter of Intent for Roberts Wesleyan University.
Demarest accepted an athletic scholarship for cross country/indoor & outdoor track.

Roberts Wesleyan University in NY, is part of the NCAA Division II East Coast Conference.

GLC Championship: 16:07 5k for 5th place. First team all conference. TIED school record.

VF CC competed in the Woodridge Invitational. The team did well in very rough terrain and warmer weather, Nate Demarest capped off the day with a 1st Place finish in the Maroon Div Race and, when combined with the White Div, 2nd overall with a time of 17:16, a course PR for him

The Cross Country team ran great on Sat, with almost all dropping considerable amounts of time. Nate Demarest placed 2nd with a time of 16:13, placing him 2nd all-time in VF Cross Country history. It puts him 6 sec away from being the fastest Cross Country runner in VF history.

Great job Cross Country Runners. Standout runners of the meet were Mickey Moriarty and Eric Jaworski. Mickey has consistently dropped time and dropped another 2 min from last week. Eric just joined our team and competed this weekend with an outstanding first meet time of 22:14
