@FreBasil Results don't lie. Lee and Jun are paper champs. Super strong in ranked but meh in highest level. People didn't even know helpme and iamyourfather played lol
As always Lili is top 10 until tournaments actually happen. She was only top 5/top 10 on Tekken 8 s1 launch. Once pros got used to f1+2 and df44 muscle memory it's the same situation that happens on every backturn mix
This is a phase every fan goes through eventually. Start with slop. Experience some gems. Have the energy to search yourself. Finding classics eventually. Hating modern slop. See old slop. Have better understanding of era, technology, sociopolitical factors. Appreciate modern art
Harem is slopfest but the challenge of going through the polygamy route is tough. Every hero/heroine needs chemistry with the main character but with the other partners as well. Hierarchy, humor, and drama with an tolerable level of verisimilitude has to be thoroughly considered.
@Arkasama_ That is true. That's why Rance dominated the polls because they focused on his appeal first then built the heroines around him. Then they started growing on their own. That happens to some other harem gems I found but they're rare
@Arkasama_ I think what makes harem work is the tension. Who the main character will choose choosing because everyone seems appealing. Go polygamy and remove that tension and you get cringe. You have to build an entire different framework within to make it work.
You can go the doomer route that they're all bad or be the enjoyer of everything. Or around the middle. Twitter is always black and white about these things of course. Maturity just comes with time if you start to self reflect
Been analyzing slop lately and finding gems makes me think everything has always been about execution. Any trash can be turned into a 💎 if done correctly.
Something that pisses me off lately in this game is how certain characters can pressure you non stop and quickly get out of danger when you do it to them. Characters like Xiaoyu Alisa Kunimitsu Zafina. It's their movement and not their evasive buttons that I'm referring to
