Often when I’m discouraged in ministry I use what I call the *70 rule*: will I care about this when I’m 70? 9/10 the answer is no. Very few things fall into that category. What does? 👉🏻Faithfulness. My marriage. My kids eternity. A life lived for Jesus. Aiming for those.
If we do not make formation in Christ the priority, then we're just going to keep on producing Christians that are indistinguishable in their character from many non-Christians.
