We’re are going to hear the same rhetorical bullshit about how “we know it wasn’t good enough today” and we “need to put it right v Ipswich” but the truth is, Utd surrendered in the first 10 minutes. They made a conscious choice to not match Hull’s intensity, their desire and their work rate. A number of players accepted defeat, it was undeniable. Utd players have been doing this for years but they get away with it and they’ll get away with it again. First game of the season and half the team can’t look the fans in the eye.

£65m for a player who’s currently injured? And personally I don’t think he’s the midfielder we need.

Give me Manu Koné all day. More proven, more aggressive and I think he’d suit this United midfield far better.

We’ve been linked with Koné, Tchouaméni and now Camara.

Personally I’m taking Koné. More proven, physical, carries the ball brilliantly and feels like exactly what this midfield needs.

But Camara for £42m could be some serious business too. 🔴 #MUFC
