Trachelswald Castle. Names of the rulers of the castle were first mentioned in 1131. It later was a prison where Anabaptists were held, some of whom were executed for their beliefs.

Limmat River Zürich. Sobering spot. I’ll try to translate: “Here in the middle of the Limmat river from a fish platform Felix Manz and five other Anabaptists were drowned from 1527 to 1532. The last Anabaptist to be executed here was Hans Landis in 1614.”
