Last week at "Save The Games" graphic designer Garrett Burke showed us his original concept sketches for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles (promotional and packaging artwork) that he worked on for SEGA of America. (@museumofplay in Rochester, NY August 22nd, 2024). (1/4)
Congrats to everyone at @NFSAonline who worked on this study of the state of game preservation efforts around the world. It was good to collaborate with them and have @chrisarneil present the results at the Save the Games conference at @museumofplay https://t.co/DgMM9bHkaa
Had an amazing opportunity to see and use a replica CRT Amusement Device (a late 40's "first video game" contender) at the Save the Games symposium at the @museumof . Here's a short demonstration showing it in action:

@D3stiny_Sm4sher Well, jeez, where we went to college, everything was taken so deadly seriously, it's not like you would have received a whole lot of help achieving that realization
It was an honor to attend & present at the Save The Games Symposium @museumofplay. A couple of unforgettable days full of great talks and I was able to help raise awareness for game merchandise preservation. Met several great people too. Never thought I'd do something like this.
Walking around the @museumofplay you'll notice numerous bookshelves. Pick up a game history book, read it anywhere, return it at the exit, or if you're local to Rochester you can check it out with a library card. Better yet, take a picture of an interesting book to look up later.
