In 2020, remember this:
Republicans are the party of Uber.
Democrats are the party of taxi cab unions.
Own your own labor, work where you want and how you want, and embrace innovation. That’s conservatism.
An incredibly compelling read, millions of years notwithstanding. The article shoulders the burden of all time & space within our sanctified bubble, and drills into the intricacies of incontrovertibly sustainable life in the Amazing Creation, Planet Earth https://t.co/1xxPsF6Tt4
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang So why are we abusing @realDonaldTrump instead of praying for his every thought and decision? Won't that support the future of our great country so much better than whipping up frenetic fury, hoping the contagion of hate infects enough people so that the acid becomes excusable?
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang It's important to note that I would have problems with all those things if Donald Trump were a pastor. But he's not. He is a leader of a huge country and massive economy, yes. But he is not my moral compass. People need to stop expecting that from political leaders.
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang Herod was an evil man, but his decree to kill children was used by God to fulfill prophecy, and ultimately glorify God. But even Pilate saw truth in Christ, but to not offend the crowd and cause a riot (political trouble) he buckled under pressure.
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang And in the NT, Peter was close to staying segregationist, but God reveals a better way. And later, Paul re-corrects Peter for slipping backwards b/c peer pressure. And Paul was quick tempered and fired a team member in frustration. John the Baptist needed reassurance.
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang I am not categorizing our leader amongst these, but observe the failings of Abraham, Solomon, Joab, Aaron, Nehemiah, Jonah, Jacob, and even King David. Their humanity and failing made God's blessing and leading through them that much more spectacular.
@kstaff1 @MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang And digging into the OT, most "Kings" or "judges" or even priests, who were all supposed to be more directly a spiritual role model, we are hard pressed to find one without one of the issues people have against @realDonaldTrump.
@MarkDavis@JohnFugelsang Perhaps an adjustment to say I don't "follow" Trump as I do Scripture, but rather, I "support" Trump as he leads our great country back to greatness.
@NikkiHaley @ArtQuijada @Pksoze It's like the people who air their inner thoughts on Twitter don't realize that the mic is hot to the entire world listening...
