@McFaul I think that’s taking the analogy too far. Must factor assumptions 1) Communism failed experiment; 2) state weakness exploited by military betrayal; 3) turning on government results in bad outcomes. One of the biggest hurdles of the bolsheviks was overcoming the backstab blame.
