The @WyomingSports Cowboys will play for it's first state championship after defeating top-ranked Maysville 68-51 in the D4 State Semis.
The #2 Cowboys (26-2) controlled the pace from the start as they jumped out to an 8-0 advantage and a 12-4 lead after one as four Cowboys saw the scoring column in the stanza.
Wyoming then score the first two buckets of the second before #1 Maysville (26-2) finally started connecting from beyond the arc with back-to-back threes to cut the deficit to 16-10 and 30-20 at the break.
The Panthers controlled the pace in the third outscoring the Cowboys by 7 until a turn-around dagger by Jackson Teras pushed the advantage to 46-40 heading to the fourth.
Maysville had the lead down to one possession at 3 points 2 1/2 minutes into the final quarter, but Wyoming finished the game on a 20-6 run to punch their ticket to the final day of the D4 season where they will face Glenville for the title.
