AESL has won a ~Rs 8,500 Cr inter-state transmission project in Andhra Pradesh.
The project, “Transmission System for Proposed Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia Projects in Vizag Area, Andhra Pradesh (Phase-I)”, was awarded through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework of the Government of India, where AESL emerged as the most competitive bidder.
This project adds 1,582 ckm of transmission lines and 10,500 MVA of transformation capacity, taking AESL’s transmission orderbook to over Rs 80,000 Cr.
The transmission system will cater to an estimated demand of ~4,500 MW. It will also support the growing needs of Pendurthi-Vizag region, emerging from upcoming data centres and digital infrastructure investments.

Adani Green Energy has been recognised with the Largest Project of the Year award at India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2026 for its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Khavda, Gujarat.
With 3.37 GWh of commissioned capacity, it is the world's largest single-location BESS deployment outside China. Designed to store renewable energy when it is abundant and deliver it during periods of peak demand, the project strengthens grid stability and supports reliable, affordable round-the-clock clean power.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to building the infrastructure that will accelerate India's clean energy transition.

Game on. Team spirit stronger than ever.
From thrilling rallies to memorable moments, Smash Masters organised by Adani Green Energy celebrated the camaraderie, teamwork and energy that brings our people together. It was an opportunity for colleagues across AGEL to come together, compete with spirit and celebrate teamwork beyond the workplace.
Because every point scored off the court counts too.

The biggest threat for the BJP in @BJP4Karnataka and @BJP4Goa may not come from the Congress and other regional rivals but from growing internal fissures. My opinion on @ndtv
A decade ago, it began with a single renewable energy project.
Today, Adani Green Energy has grown to 20 GW of operational capacity—helping generate over 52 billion units of clean electricity every year. That’s enough to meet nearly 3% of India’s annual electricity needs.
As India grows, so does the need for clean, reliable energy. We’re proud to be helping power that future—one renewable project at a time.

In my opinion on @ndtv, I underline why PM @narendramodi’s impending cabinet reshuffle appears less about individual ministers and more about @BJPindia's larger political project.
The Trinamool’s @AITCofficial current crisis appears to be the consequence of a political model built around cult leadership, welfare populism and anti-Left sentiment rather than a durable ideological framework. My opinion on @ndtv explores other lessons.
Mass political leaders take their followers for granted. Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar in his ‘enthusiasm’ threw half eaten apples at his supporters. In my opinion on @ndtv I write why the very act was demeaning and insensitive.
With the impending exit of BJP leader @annamalai_k from the party, whether BJP is losing its most visible experiment in Tamil Nadu? My opinion on @ndtv traces the long and arduous journey for both on their own.
In my opinion on @ndtv I argue that while opposition parties have every democratic right to critique the government and highlight its flaws, hollow predictions of its fall sounds frivolous, undermining credibility of @RahulGandhi
Pragmatic politicians balance party stand with wellbeing of their people. A rare breed in India today. Telengana CM @revanth_anumula raises the bar high with a cordial relation with PM @narendramodi. My Opinion on @ndtv.
In my opinion for @ndtv, I argue about gender convergence in voter turnout in the assembly elections held in five states recently. Women voters not only matched but surpassed male turnout. This shift is not merely statistical but political.
Across 90 sites, over 9000 colleagues and partners came together this International Labour Day to listen and align with our Chairman Mr Gautam Adani’s vision in his inaugural “अपनी बात, अपनों के साथ” address. At Khavda in Gujarat’s Kutch district, progress begins with dignity, with housing for 50,000 colleagues and a cloud kitchen in Mundra serving one lakh meals daily.

Recent remarks by politicians - Mallikarjun Kharge and Pappu Yadav - have been unfortunate, embarrassing and controversial. These statements are not isolated gaffes. They are symptoms of a larger degradation in public discourse where outrage replaces argument, and insult substitutes ideology. My Opinion on @ndtv
FY26 proved what scale looks like.
With 5+ GW greenfield capacity added reaching a total operational 19.3 GW capacity, AGEL is among the world’s fastest‑growing renewable players.
In FY26, we delivered:
- 34% YoY growth in energy sales — powering millions of homes
- 5.1 GW added in a single year (total: 19.3 GW)
- Core EBITDA up 23% YoY to ₹10,865 crore (91% margin)
- ~1.4 GWh BESS at Khavda — among the world’s largest
- Cash profit surged 11% YoY to ₹5,399 crore
The next growth phase is backed by significant planned investments, with a clear focus on reliability, storage and long‑term resilience.
Think of it as building clean power at country‑scale, but strengthening the foundations for decades.
Recognised across global ESG benchmarks and reinforced by a BBB+ (stable) Japanese credit rating, AGEL remains firmly on track for 50 GW by 2030.

Now that the @BJP4India has come to power in Bihar, the real test for its first chief minister @samrat4bjp Choudhary and the government begins now. My opinion on @ndtv about the challenges and opportunities for the new CM.
Public spat between @AamAadmiParty and @raghav_chadha exposes deeper structural and ideological weaknesses within the party led by @ArvindKejriwal where dissent is considered as disobedience.
