Kwankwaso Calls on International Community Following Attack on Peter Obi’s Convoy
“I am deeply disturbed by the attack on the convoy of our presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as he travelled to Benue State.
I call on the international community, including diplomatic missions and election observation groups, to take note of this incident and urge Nigerian authorities to uphold the rule of law, protect opposition leaders, and safeguard democratic freedoms.”
— NDC vice-presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, reacting to the reported att@ck on Peter Obi’s convoy while he was travelling to Benue State to visit and sympathise with families affected by recent att@cks.
@channelstv What is this man saying?
600Billon to 10m people, that's 60k per each person?
Why share 60 that will lost a month, rather that developing the productive capacity of the people to feed for themselves..
@ARISEtv This is deeply disappointing every time citizens defend failure.
Moments like this demand presence, empathy, clear action and not symbolism. Lives were lost
Holding such a sensitive engagement at an airport, sends a clear message that urgency is lacking where it matters most....
@firstladyship Interestingly the students that came out protesting have been arrested, the high court in Edo state have remand them..
How weird and weird ever be..
@emmaikumeh Image a nation that is not directly facing the heat, is seriously discussing ways forward, ..while in Nigeria, our law makers are fighting for their political relevance and their selfish interests...
“The military officer was never rude to Wike; he only stood to explain himself. As for the police officer who tried to shun the Naval officer, that was very wrong. In such situations, the best thing for security agencies to do is to work together for the security of the nation. We must not allow politicians to pit us against each other.”

@MasterBolaji Peter Obi won't approach the matter arrogantly the way our Honorable Minister Wike did.
The Minister ought to have handle it in a more diplomatic way, by reaching out the superior officer that sent them there.
The officer was not acting on his own, rather on a superior order.
@mcnun@emmaikumeh Some of Una, still don't understand the strength of the Military in this country..
They still run the show in proxy.. Woke cannot go beyond shouting..
Military have their own laws and constitution,..
