On Sunday, Nov. 11, 2022 pastor Bajnu Salam was dragged out of his service in Kosalnar village in Chhattisgarh, India and beaten for preaching the gospel.
He and other believers were hospitalized for treatment.
Pray for the persecuted church.

God deserves credit for this!
"Let all the earth fear the LORD;
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
For he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded, and it stood firm."
(Psalm 33:8–9 ESV)
“Abortion presents a profound moral question. The constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each state from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe & Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions & return that authority to the people and their elected reps”
"The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something, and enter God's realm where everything is possible. He specializes in the impossible."
Corrie ten Boom
A word for pastors who aren’t the lead/teaching/senior pastor:
While you elders/pastors have plurality with each other, you don’t with the church.
It is critical to navigate this complexity.
Here’s what I mean:
The transition in 1 Kings 10 to 11 is stunning. In 10, we read of Solomon’s unmatched prosperity and peace—all gifts from God. In ch 11, Solomon’s heart is turned away from God by his 100s of lovers.
How quickly we forget the goodness of God.
'No man, says God to Moses, can see my face, and live, Exod. 33:20; upon which words Augustine makes this short but sweet reply, "Then, Lord, let me die, that I may see your face.'
In Thomas Brooks "An Ark for All God's Noahs"
"In Christ, we are not pursued like wanted criminals, but like wanted children, or like wanted lovers, because wrath is replaced by desire."
Rachel Gilson
"God is as high above an archangel as above a caterpillar, for the gulf that separates the archangel from the caterpillar is but finite, while the gulf between God and the archangel is infinite."
