Say what you will about the state of dubstep,
We can all agree that when it’s good it’s really good and there’s nothing like it
and when it’s bad it’s maybe the worst music ever made.
It seems that no matter what I say (or type) no one seems to understand anything I’m saying so I’ll try bullet points:
- Vol 7 is the last NSD Compilation (I’m never doing one of those again)
- NSD as a label is back (but don’t expect it to be like it was 4 years ago)
I’m going to do an AMA on IG next week and wanted to get that out of the way and (as nice as the words are) - I kind of want everyone to stop talking about me like they’re at my funeral 🤣
All Imma say is,
NSD & OWSLA is a pure and definite example of what non-comforming to modern media and 0-f*cks given should look and sound like.
I got into edm because
it gave me adrenaline by sound.
Just like rock and metal.
Same idea, different crowd.
And there’s range.
nsd put my project on the map
spelljam was the definitive ep of my early project and junkworld was the refined version of that sound and both of those releases wouldn’t have been possible without the push and help from skism.
phiso is prob the singlar reason why i decided to make dubstep, and we have made so many songs now but this one has stayed almost all my sets since 2019. im very happy do be releasing this.
