Sunak and the Conservatives have clearly decided they don't want the votes of anyone under 40, now or ever. The last 13 years, my entire adult life, has been a #Tory government making a series of short-term terrible decisions whilst delivering nothing of note for my generation.
@KHarveyProctor Genuine question. Why do you think the flags were planted or bought by the BBC, rather than attendees opting to bring whatever flag they want? Personally I'd have taken a Cornish one, but would you be trying to ban that too?
If you only ever watch one clip from the #InvictusGames in your life, please let it be this one.
Rola Amro🇯🇴 thank you for embodying the #InvictusSpirit 💛🖤
The boss of Brittany Ferries has condemned the behaviour of P&O Ferries and expressed 'surprise' that the government has paid almost £230 million to P&O and its owner since the mass-sackings last year.

@ChrisClarksonMP Embarrassing to use a tragedy in France to make this point. Also Rutte has outlasted four Tory PMs, so there's some straws being grasped for there too...
@Mark_J_Harper@Telegraph As a car owner and driver in Waltham Forest, I really enjoy the LTNs and the very extensive one way system (w. 20 mph limit). I feel safer as a pedestrian, have less noise at home, and I notice very little impact on car journey times.
@NileGardiner@JustinWelby Only out of touch with the echo chamber of public opinion you engage with on here and no doubt in your personal life. I'd say a lot of the public agrees with Welby. The Bill and the policy is a disgraceful way to treat humans, and a terrible way to solve the actual problem.
All of which leaves millions of care workers and vulnerable people waiting even longer (we're on 20 odd years so far) for a care system that is fit for the world we live in.
Meanwhile people don't get the care and support they need, and Commissioning focuses on £s not people.
Which brings us back to the @DHSCgovuk and @Helen_Whately either lacking the required vision to improve and reform care, lacking the leadership to drive change, lacking the power or No.10 sign off, or (most likely) all three.
1/29 We need to talk about these graphs 👇
We have nurses & junior doctors on strike & consultants potentially joining them very soon. Lets talk about inflation & pay. How to fix this car crash (& perhaps more importantly, how NOT to). Please read full 🧵 to end and share / RT
Q: How do you trick the population into believing that asylum seekers are becoming a bigger and bigger issue?
A: Stop processing asylum applications.
Cynical? That's exactly what the Tories did.
The % of asylum applications completed within 6 months fell from 80%+ to ~10%.
