@Mark_J_Harper @Telegraph As a car owner and driver in Waltham Forest, I really enjoy the LTNs and the very extensive one way system (w. 20 mph limit). I feel safer as a pedestrian, have less noise at home, and I notice very little impact on car journey times.

@NileGardiner @JustinWelby Only out of touch with the echo chamber of public opinion you engage with on here and no doubt in your personal life. I'd say a lot of the public agrees with Welby. The Bill and the policy is a disgraceful way to treat humans, and a terrible way to solve the actual problem.

All of which leaves millions of care workers and vulnerable people waiting even longer (we're on 20 odd years so far) for a care system that is fit for the world we live in.

Meanwhile people don't get the care and support they need, and Commissioning focuses on £s not people.

Q: How do you trick the population into believing that asylum seekers are becoming a bigger and bigger issue?

A: Stop processing asylum applications.

Cynical? That's exactly what the Tories did.

The % of asylum applications completed within 6 months fell from 80%+ to ~10%.
