@InitiallD_ExP By your own statements this is false. You DO support others to get viewers because that's what "works" for you. You don't like having 0 chat and no viewers so you do what "works."
@InitiallD_ExP I dare say supporting others is indeed not supporting others if you are attempting to get something out of it yourself. If you are not succeeding on the other platforms I think there is a reason for that.
@InitiallD_ExP You don't stream on Twitch to get noticed. That's the issue. Starting out, actually being live on stream is not a way to grow at all. It's not Twitch's job to provide visibility, that's why Youtube & Tiktok exist.
@InitiallD_ExP What else should they be doing other than focusing on their content? That's the whole point of being a content creator. The "grind" is not how many streams can I watch to get viewers. It's about the drive to always improve your own content.
@InitiallD_ExP Well, I must say I highly disagree. If helping people is simply a way for you to get noticed yourself then that's awful. You get noticed by consistently providing good content.
Stop feeling guilty when someone donates to your stream.
They like what you're doing.
You should like what you're doing and use the money to make it better.
We all knew Twitch takes 50% sub revenue when you signed up.
No one is blind sighted by this.
Hopefully they change it but don't act all bad ass & angry when you knew plainly this is how it is.
Yes
Going "full time" sounds appealing
But really think about it...
I truly believe many smaller content creators do not really want to go full time.
I think they are just bored in their IRL life & the stress of going "full time" is much more than we think it is.
Look
You know how to grow a stream
Stop wasting your time watching stream tip videos and feeling like you're accomplishing something.
What you really lack is...
Time.
