Whilst I appreciate being given advance notice @AvantiWestCoast …. Why is my only option to catch a later train??? There used to be an option to catch the one before?
@AvantiWestCoast how is it possible you’ve made a cumbersome online booking process even more heavy handed?? On top of that your Club Avanti still doesn’t offer all it says it does.
Thank to @CrossCountryUK for making a new reservation following my booked train being cancelled…. But tell me WHY are your reservations systems not working… unnecessary stress for people just trying to get home
@AvantiWestCoast Wow!!! And yet if it I didn’t want the journey to count towards my Club Avanti I could book the whole journey on Trainline without a problem…. So essentially there is an issue with your booking system.

Options but can’t proceed with the booking… only book through your app because of club Avanti… don’t have this issue with Trainline
@AvantiWestCoast I made several attempts through the website as well…. Same result… seems like an issue that your system won’t allow someone to buy tickets
FFS @AvantiWestCoast I use your app, club Avanti member, yet still I arrive at station to find the 05:53 to EUS is cancelled … now in a cab to BHM that I can’t claim for… at least with Trainline app I would get a notification! 🤯
@AvantiWestCoast Yes I worked that out… but read my post and accompanying email as you don’t address the issue… that’s not what is indicated… cancelled is all it reads… and creates mild panic as you race back across London to work out other options… totally unnecessary
Only 4th Jan and incompetence of @AvantiWestCoast starts… email received less than 1 hour before and says train cancelled… no way of getting earlier train as it’s gone and all later ones also cancelled… thing is it’s not actually cancelled.. it’s just this station .. grr!!!
3/3:And you offer no alternative option for me to get back to the origin station as you’ve cancelled previous and later stops. I would suggest reviewing clarity of communication it makes it easier for everyone.
2/3: information should’ve been clearer… especially when the reason given makes no sense (both from station staff) and the fact that other companies are running through my intended station. Congrats on creating mild panic as I tried to fathom out how I was going to get back
Again @ExpediaUK I’m trying to book hotels and your website is not loading properly. I can’t even contact help as it won’t load. This keeps happening on several browsers .. why? I find it much easier to book online that I do through app.
Once again @ThreeUK I’m without any workable signal/connection and current tethering of another network. Stuck on m5 near Bristol and no I can’t send a postcode. This is getting beyond a joke now in having a usable phone.
