I have learnt of the passing of AIGP Charles Kataratambi. He was among the first crop of officers recruited into Police in 2001, following the recommendations of the Ssebutinde Commission, alongside officers like Simeo Nsubuga, AIGP Enanga, and Nabakooba.

That group endured rigorous training and went on to serve our country with dedication. Kataratambi gave his full service to the Force, and where he may have fallen short, may he be forgiven. He was a refined officer whose contribution will be remembered.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
