@AnonDogAcct@DapperDomo@HashemiteKing 1913 the top tax rate was 7% on income over $15.8 million (inflation adjusted to todays value). The lowest was 1% for income over $635k (today’s value). The average yearly income was $24k…so not even close to the bottom bracket.
@mcuban I stopped reading the bill after 20 pages or so and the total spending on Ukraine was like $60 BILLION dollars…and none for the border.
You’re crazy if you think you can get a “border bill” passed with all that unrelated spending in there.
